India - Bangalore
School:Stonehill International School Bangalore, India <information@stonehillinternationalschool.org>

Stonehill International School has been conceived to meet the highest educational expectations of Bangalore's rapidly growing multinational community.

Stonehill is a school for a diverse student body, with a global faculty and an international curriculum. We believe our particular location in India, gives the Stonehill community of learners (teachers, students and parents) an incredible opportunity to examine change, explore the interconnectedness of issues and develop a global perspective.

To offer an educational experience that is truly international, Stonehill invited the Council of International Schools (CIS) to be its consultants. Together with their experienced input, we have attracted an inspiring faculty, are planning to implement the full International Baccalaureate programme and are providing outstanding facilities.

Stonehill will be the first school in Bangalore to implement all THREE programmes of the IB (International Baccalaureate):

PYP (Primary Years Programme) - Nursery to Grade 5
MYP (Middle Years Programme)- Grades 6 to 10
DP (Diploma Programme)- Grades 11 and 12

Stonehill has an internationally qualified and recruited staff.

Stonehill will have state-of-the-art networks, hardware and software systems to support all areas of education and communication. The campus will have wireless connectivity and all services such as telephones, intercoms and security cameras will be IP based and run on fibre optic cable. Students in the primary school have computers in their class breakout spaces, the library and in the computer lab. Students in secondary school will carry laptop computers, with computing an integral part of all aspects of the curriculum.
