Salaries in china have gone down in the last couple of years.

probably due to the large number of people that are now comming here to teach.

I say that as teachers we should stand together and refuse to work for the ridiculously low amounts that are being offered.

Schools that advertise as offering 'very good salary' and then tell you its 5000 RMB a month need to be told.

5000 RMB is $625...would you work for this at home...no you wouldnt, so why should you do it in china

We are a valuable assets and we deserve a reasonable wage.

In my opinion 20 hours of teaching a week is worth at least 10000 a month...or maybe 9000 if they provide house, flights and visa
