Travel, Teach, Live in China

Re: Living in Xingtai, China (Article)
In Response To: Living in Xingtai, China (Article) (Adam Hopes (English teacher))

Xingtai was a nice and friendly place. I lived there for 5-6 months. the best part of living there was the city the worst part was my job. I worked at #1 middle school and I had a horrible experience. I had classes of 40-50 students with little to no English ability with little to no help from the school. I had no text books, and to teaching materials (most of the time I didn't even have chalk).
If you would like to teach in Xingtai make sure that you are at a good school or make sure that you take joy in your life outside on your job. I did the latter and had a great time.
If you have any questions
