The International High School Program is a small, but growing, program situated within a large K-12 campus located in the busy city of Shenzhen in southern China. The IHSP serves as a model for a future, campus-wide transition toward an international school system in which most of the classes in grades K-12 will be taught in English.

The program's staff includes a bilingual Chinese-English support staff and administration along with native English-speaking teachers with valid teaching credentials from the U.S. or Canada. Teachers follow an American-style curriculum aligned to the U.S. Common Core Standards, and use American textbooks and teaching resources.

Students complete the 9th and 10th grade in this program then transfer to a partner school in the U.S. in order to complete their high school education and enroll in university. Classes are scheduled Monday - Friday and current course offerings, all taught in English, include ESL, English Literature, Social Studies (World History and Geography, U.S. History), Math (Algebra, Geometry), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science), and various electives.
