Our Academy was founded with a strong vision and fuelled with great passion in 2004, by our School President Mr Bill Zhang. His dream is to help to "build a bridge to the world" for all of our students, through language. We currently have two centres - one located in Jilin Province, and the other in TEDA, Tianjin Province, with a total of more than 12,000 students. Both centres provide high-quality teaching to meet the expectations of our students at each stage of the learning process.

Jilin centre

Our Jilin branch is a three-year community college accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It is located in Songyuan City, Jilin Province’s third largest prefecture-level city, at the same latitude as Detroit City in the US. Songyuan City has always been known as "an oil city, a grain store, a meat store, a sea of forest and a fish producer." The China-Petrol Jilin Oilfield is located here and ranked as No.9 amongst the land-based oilfields in China. Songyuan has a monsoon-influenced climate with the lowest temperature at -10°C (14°F) in the winter and the highest temperature at 30 °C (86°F) in the summer.

TEDA centre

The Tianjin centre is located in the Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA). Tianjin is a coastal city located 140 kilometres east of Beijing (55 minutes by bullet train from Tianjin), and is the third biggest city in China. The city is located at the same latitude as Chicago, US. Tianjin has a four-season climate with an average temperature of 15°C (59°F). Tianjin’s economic growth rate is one of the fastest in China. 78 of the enterprises in TEDA are Fortune Top 500 Enterprises. It has been referred to as China’s “Window to the world,” an extremely Westernised, modern city with superb shopping malls, restaurants and beautiful parks.
