Before you start an English course at Arena School of English you will do a level placement test to ensure that you are placed in the most appropriate class according to your current level of English. The level placement test can be done at the school when you arrive or on the internet and telephone before you arrive.

Each class level from Beginner to Advanced has a carefully planned syllabus and textbook which ensures that students get the maximum amount of practice in the four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. Our classes have a large element of conversation and pronunciation based activities which aim to provide students with the practical skills necessary for everyday life.

Our teachers are all native English speakers, fully qualified and highly experienced and they ensure that classes are always well planned and at the same time interesting and fun. Class sizes are small so every student receives individual attention and the good mix of nationalities means that there is a vibrant atmosphere in each class.

Students can choose to study English at a time that suits them – Morning, Afternoon, Evening or even at the weekend. They can also choose the number of hours per week that they want to study – from 4 hours to 30 hours – depending on your timetable.
