Let's hope he doesn't teach grammar...

"Thanks to Choatle for "retard" a fabulous adjective."
Silvertoddler

I would feel sorry for the toddler if he didn't exemplify and obviate the fact that there are way too many pretend teachers in China. Moreover, he epitomizes an anti-intellectual attitude that seems to be endemic among the population of said teachers in that it rears its ugly head way too often.

In addition, had that ten penny nail not stifled his intellectual curiosity, he may have been able to connect the dots in terms of how the post he so flatulently attacks is clearly germane to any discussion regarding language, and more specifically how language evolves; a discussion, by the way, that should at the very least spark mild curiosity in the minds of those who are employed as language teachers.

Clearly, if it were populated by teachers who were actually interested in understanding what they are teaching, the EFL scene in China would be quite different and students would be far more responsive. Many pretend teachers, such as the toddler, bemoan the absence of creative thought among Chinese students, yet are themselves incapable of seeing outside the box.
