Just a reminder!!! Stricter Visa rules in China. Coming to work in China with an L or F visa is definitely a no-no.

To all Filipino wanna-be FTs in China:

I have just read a posting on this board from a certain Ann recruiting English teachers from the Philippines for FUJIAN.

I would just like to warn you of the stricter Visa rules being implemented by the China government these days.

Please don't be duped into coming to China without proper documentations from the POEA and with the complete working/entry permits.

Please check the name of the Recruitment Agency given to you by these job posters if these are duly LICENCED by the POEA.

Be forewarned that not all schools here in China are accredited to hire Foreign Teachers. Check the documents that the recruiters are handing to you whether these are the recognizeable documents to get you a Z-visa. Visit the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and China Embassy sites for concrete RULES and GUIDELINES.

Coming here to work with an L or F visa is definitely a no-no, PERIOD.Protect yourselves by being forewarned.

And what is this mentioned by this poster with a website HTTP.KATHMANDUINFOSYS.COM, about passing an ACCENT TEST with the POEA????? NEVER HEARD OF THAT in the POEA RULES. Hoax.

The telephone number given by the poster is OBVIOUSLY a line in the Philippines. Be WARY of this.

BE CAREFUL...BE CAREFUL...BE CAREFUL...some vultures are on the job.
