I have just started looking at ESL positions and wanted to make sure I was looking at this right. They typical position in Japan or Korea seems to pay about $1,500 - $2,000 with housing provided. It looks like a comparable job in China pays $800 - $1,000 per month with housing provided or, about half as much as Korea or Japan. I just want to make sure I am translating the currencies correctly.
