China is not a freindly culture, although some university students are very friendly, and might even want to be your GF if they start to like you.

@ silverboy: Your bang on the nail RE: China. Agree about uni students being friendly, but many just seem to want an english friend to improve their english. Agree you can meet girls there, but they can be a mixed bag, Ultra materialist snobby me me me types, to ultra traditional scared of foreigner types.

If you are after a gf, the bigger cities present more opportunities. The girls in the second tier cities take more work, just my two cents.
