Nice post. Thailand does seem lively enough to be interesting, as does Phil. Everyone says what you said about S'pore, doesn't seem worthwhile.

Also, moving back home, I spoke with a mate, a "banana grubber" (?) who went back to Aus for a short visit to catch up with family. He moaned of being bored every night, not much in the way of job opportunities, and from an old kiwi pal I have heard NZ is much the same, I can honestly say the UK is not much better, but at least you banana growing fellas got the warm Aussie weather:)
