In October of 1995 the Centro de Cultura Americana—Speaking opened its doors with the objective of meeting the needs of the university students of Itajubá and surrounding regions to learn and to speak English.

Since the beginning, Speaking has been loyal to its teaching method of Interativo Comunicativo where students learn to actually speak a language.

Speaking offers students the most up-to-date language teaching methods through efficient and innovative materials, highly-trained and qualified teachers, and classes that are both dynamic and motivational, always conscious to pay individual attention to each and every one of its students.
