Nevada Tourist Attractions Make for Great Nevada Vacations
By:JeanPierre Prieur

In the mid-1800's, fortune seekers flocked to Nevada to strike it rich in the Silver Mother Lode that was discovered. Today, they come here from around the globe to find their riches. Nevada offers year-round, 24-hour-a-day entertainment, in this beautiful mid-west playground. Vacationers who travel to Nevada find so much more than just a casino where they can try their luck. Nevada offers visitors every gorgeous sight and exciting sound imaginable, making your getaway a memorable experience.

The Grand Canyon National Park is a must-see on your short list of things to do in Nevada. This powerful landscape, with 277 river miles, is 18 miles wide. Take a tour, a hike, or a walk out into the skywalk, or just enjoy its peaceful waterfalls. Whatever you fancy, the views are immense and definitely larger than life.

Lake Mead National Park should be next on your list of things to see in Nevada. Offering year-round recreation, you will want to reserve a campsite for at least one night underneath the Mojave Desert sky. With 300 square miles to see, the possibilities at Lake Mead are endless.

The city of Las Vegas, simply stated, is a one-of-a-kind entertainment spectacular. Millions of visitors travel here each year for the gambling, the shows, to sightseeing along The Strip, Downtown, and Fremont Street. The resorts are mega-size, and many are five-star destinations.

Casinos in Las Vegas come alive after dark, but are busy 24 hours-a-day. But you won't know what time of day it is - there are no clocks here. The design of each casino is uniquely themed. Just walking through the casinos is a treat, but if you do want to gamble, the professionalism and discretion displayed by casino employees is the best you will find anywhere.

Ready for a little nightclub action? Get ready to wait in line at some of the clubs in Las Vegas. The most popular ones are crowded, the music is great, and the scene is action-packed. The views at most clubs throughout the city is awesome. Whatever you are up for, Las Vegas has a club ready to make your night.

Expect world-class entertainers to perform in Las Vegas, seven days-a-week. Tickets to the big names sell out fast, so you will want to get them before your arrival date. Shows are scheduled in most hotels and clubs year-round. The entertainment is first-rate, whether you are seeing a famous entertainer, or a broadway style show.

Many world famous chefs own restaurants in Las Vegas, and these are popular places to eat. There are so many restaurants in Las Vegas, it is hard to choose. Whatever your taste buds call for can be found here - from a great hot dog to a five-course meal.

Nevada is a great place to take a vacation, get married, or indulge any unfulfilled pleasure. Most people go home with memorable stories, and make plans to go back as soon as possible. Most agree that Nevada is the "entertainment capital of the world."
