Legoland is an amusement park located in California that is operated by the Lego Company. There are attractions and rides that feature the Lego products along with shows and shopping for all ages to enjoy. You are in for a fun-filled day if you decide to visit Legoland.

Check the operating schedule online before you visit. During the summer, Legoland is opened daily, but operates on a limited schedule for the rest of the year.

Experience the rides built using Legos. Featured park rides include The Dragon, Aquazone Wave Racers and Bionicle Blaster.

Take the smaller kids to Legoland. The park is ideal for smaller kids because many of the attractions have no minimum height requirement. There is Fairy Tale Brook, a ride that involves going over the water in a leaf shaped boat and seeing your favorite fairy tale characters. Also, there is Playtown, an area with slides and activities for younger guests.

Consider some of the additional activities offered in Legoland. For an extra fee, you can get your face painted, hair braided, portrait drawn or get an airbrush tattoo.

Purchase Lego products while visiting. You'll find a larger selection of Legos at Legoland than anywhere else on the planet. If you are a fan of the toy, be sure to pick up some kits to bring home with you.

Break up the day by attending a show. The show schedule rotates, but you can usually find shows geared towards children and adults. A 4-D show is also held on a daily basis.
