In Response To: I am a Filipino; planning to apply as english teacher in China. Do I have an edge versus the native (answers.yahoo.com)
I myself am an English language teacher but being Burmese ,I think I am in an even worse situation than you. Or should I say, I was, as I decided that if I could not find a job , I'd start my own language school and have done so and it is doing relatively well in a far-away place most people have never heard of called Mandalay in Upper Myanmar
( Burma ) . Now I am looking for a teacher for my school and it really doesn't matter to me if the teacher is caucasian or not, so if you or any non-native teacher of English who loves teaching, is hard working and wants the experience of living off the beaten track for some time is interested contact me at : soelwin.best@gmail.com and/or visit my blog www.bestmandalay.wordpress.com
( I have no bias concerned race ,religion, skin color so that means caucasians can contact me too.
