In reference to your statement "unique treatment of Filipino English teachers.."
Yeah, maybe there is or there are but whether this be illegal or legal is the more important aspect.
We just have to be straightforward with our responses for the question of getting a position legally. for as far as the Korean Law is concerned, Filipinos CAN'T in whatever legal way get the Visa. Meaning, if there are some of them who are teaching there, then surely not legally.
It's so much different on your part coz as you've said, you have a dual citizenship, one Canadian, which qualified you for the Working Permit.
Try to avoid misleading statements for it may worsen the plight of our fellow Filipino teachers out there.
