When someone you worked for breaks the "trust" you instil in them as your employer by ripping you off, I can fully understand the need to tell others to avoid an employer. You can dress up a situation as much as you like but when an employment situation is unlike what has been put in the contract without legal remiss, then every potential future employee must be warned.
Some people can't handle the "brutal honesty" dished out here and instead prefer the 'sugar coated, rose tinted glasses' version of China instead instead.
