'Young Englishman in China' Response to the defamatory attacks of 'LondonGirl' (EF Dalian employee)

1. The reason I was fired is because the school worried was taking too much time off. In the months leading up to my dismissal I had to travel to Beijing twice, first to get a 'license to marry' from the British embassy, second time to get married. Together, these trips were 7 working days. Both times the school were extremely angry about this. The second time I went I knew I was risking my job, but I had to get married then. Obviously they knew that when I had the baby, I would likely need more time off.

2. Leaving EF Dalian was not a problem. However I take issue with the school threatening the police on my wife, who was seven months pregnant, causing her undue stress and worry that caused her to go to hospital for precautionary checks. She could have had a stress-induced miscarriage. Was this really necessary 'LondonGirl'? Why on earth you would defend this? They also extorted a lot of money from me

A few details on my dismissal

- I was fired on the 28th December, however on the 27th the DoS told everyone that I would be fired. I wasn't due in that day, so when I arrived the next morning everyone knew I would be fired apart from me! It was humiliating.
- Then the DoS took me to a kids classroom to explain my dismissal. We sat on colourful little stools. No joke!
