I've been stringing Frankie boy along for years. Used up about a hundred hours of his time and made sure that he has absolutely nothing to show for it.

It's fun!

Re: Frank Zhang; James Zhang

Here's what I don't understand:
"I do my job only because some of people really need my help. And I never charge them."
"I never asked commission from him too. I don't need commission for my hard-working. Because the school will pay"

Then you complain that:
"But Robert Arnold Kerr never wants to pay me and ever never say thanks to me."

Why does he have to pay you? I thought the school would do that?

Re: Frank Zhang; James Zhang

Mr Kerr,

You are a great teacher. You taught my son how to tango, Remember?

My son enjoyed your lessons and your sense of humour. You were so generous to your students and gave them sweets and cakes during your lessons. I think China needs you to carry on the good work of the west.

10/10 A+

Your Engrish is superb.

Re: Frank Zhang; James Zhang

Dear Frank,

I don't wish to debate your response. I believe an intelligent person can propose their own conclusion, if they saw fit.

I do feel slightly annoyed by the vast ocean of lies you have concocted, but one should expect such actions.

I just want to say Frank that all you do is prove people correct by your actions. Let's pretend for a moment you were an intelligent man. Don't you think it's strange how someone who uses their real name in chat forums, actual email address would be the same person to escape from a school in the middle of the night secretly (in which they were "fired" as you say)?

Yes, that's logic at its finest!

Thanks,

Robert A. Kerr

P.S. I am a Canadian Frank, I am glad your memory serves you well.

Frank Zhang; James Zhang

Robert Arnold Kerr is a really shameless BAD man.

He contacted me for a job in Suzhou last year. He asked for 5,000-6,000rmb a month. He made his Chinese lady call me for many times too to confirm that.

I have already spend too much time and send all of his documents

to all the schools of Suzhou. I tried to help him and worked very hard for him too.

Some of schools in Suzhou could consider to accept him after I worked hard to persuade. But he suddenly changed his promise. He need 8,000rmb a month. He was really very bad and not relable.

But I spend much more time and finally got a job for him in SUzhou FLS. and they agreed to pay the money too. I signed a contract with the School too. But Robert Arnold Kerr never wants to pay me and ever never say thanks to me.

He is so rude and impolite. I never asked commission from him too. I don't need commission for my hard-working. Because the school will pay.

But he secretly and privately contated with the School and did never tell me that he moved to Suzhou. So that the Suzhou Foriegn SChool couldn't accept him becuase the school has a contract with me. and they must accept teachers from me.

I have to spend too much time to find another teacher for the school or the school wiould blame me. Fortunately, My friend in Shanghai,Graham Wright from UK helped me and took the job instead. He is just a MBA degree. he can teach math and Business very well too.

This is why the bad USA guy lost the job. It is becuse of his dishonesty. when they coul't been accepted by SUzhou FLS, He contacted me again.and let me leave the job for him again. His Chinese lady told me she was wrong and asked me again for the job. at that time, I was just in Suzhou with Graham Wright from UK together.

I told the lady that they were very shameless and have no faith. I told them before they left from Shanxi that pleease contact me when they arrived at SUzhou. but they didn't contact me and contacted with the school privately. It really damaged my friendship between the school and me.

and then , Mrs. Zhou told me they would not pay commission for him. I asked her why. Mrs. Zhou told me it was because the guy contacted with her direclty.

My god.... all of my hardworking was damaged by the bad guy and his bad lady. So that I told Mrs. Zhou that I would put her school to Suzhou Court if she broke the contract with me. and I went to the school to found the headmaster. I was very angry with them. and the headmaster blamed Mrs. Zhou and let me find another instead and then they will pay all the fee to me. I say ok.

So that I placed Graham Wright from UK instead in 2 days.

and then Graham Wright from UK found another job in Suzhou MUDU middle School. But the people who are in Mudu Middle School were very unhappy with the 2 poors. and then he got fired.and left the school in the middle of night secretly.

and then he kept looking for jobs, he got a job in Changzhou INTL school...now.

I will tell everyschool about his cheatings and crimes. I don't need any fee now. I am a quite rich man. But I have to report his unfaith and dis reliable to every school in Jiangsu.

Re: Alin Buuer; Frank Zhang; James Zhang, et al - ESL school review

I agree,

Frank Zhang cost me a great position at a International School because of his lies. This school was looking for a Business and Mathematics teacher, but due to constantly changing information and a good common sense I bailed out on him. I later contacted the school to find out that they had found someone for the position and knew about this man.

He is not in high favors with schools, and with foreign teachers. He was angry that I contacted the school privately, and even said he hated foreign teachers that had Chinese wives/girlfriends because the make things difficult. What exactly do they make difficult? Conning poor naive foreigners?

Avoid this guy, he has a reputation and is shameless. Can you believe after that he contacted me again offering me another position a few weeks later acting like we were best friends.

Anyone looking to find a job in Jiangsu province, don't work with this .... parasite.

P.S. He also tries to use the name Sang Xing!!!!

Mr.X,

Canilx from Jianyin is that bad school ?
Others have been teaching there for more than three-four years.
Are you not that guy, who showed up one day and was unable to teach ? Why are you telling lies about your teaching experience in Korea ? You were not able to teach at all in Jiangyin: not good at teaching kids or adults.
One like you expects at least 10.000RMB/month ?
I haven`t met your recruiter, but I am surprised by your lack of common sense.

Re: Alin Buuer; Frank Zhang; James Zhang, et al - ESL school review

What? He's still getting away with it? I dealt with the same dude under his then preferred alias of Alin Buuer about three years ago. Fortunately, I had already learned how to navigate my way through the recruitment land mines of China so didn't fall for his BS. Sadly, though, others have not been so lucky. Unbelievable that he's still in business. Well, on second thought, this is China, so I guess it's not that unbelievable.

On a brighter note, if you can avoid recruiters and their private school cronies, you may be lucky enough to find a rewarding and even enjoyable teaching position in China. However, it takes a lot of luck and a lot of research.

Good luck.

The recruiter/con artist being discussed here (who knows how many aliases he is using at this point) is terrible!

He will be extremely charming in his email correspondence, but he is definitely a "snake in the grass" as some say.

STAY AWAY from Frank Zhang, and his other other dark sides!

Re: Alin Buuer; Frank Zhang; James Zhang, et al - ESL school review

I've crossed paths with this guy and I can certify that he is a very dangerous recruiter indeed. He helped put me in a very bad way with a training type school in the middle of nowhere (Jiangyin City). He can and will change his emails and contact #s often. My feelings are that someone needs to grab a picture of the animal and post it online for others to see whom there are sealing their fate with if they deal with him in person.
I was actually at his place in Shanghai. If you meet him in person, he will do the switch and bait routine. My advice is to first screen his emails and contact #s online along with the school. I had screened the school and found bad reviews here about it. I should have stopped but I was intent on working in the Shanghai area and convinced myself that the school was good. On the other hand I didn't know how bad many of the Chinese schools can be as I was a complete newbie here, unlike Korea.
Please bring enough money with you (at least $1000 USD), especially if you're new because the chances are better than good that you will cross paths with a Frank Zhang type person during your journey and you will need the money to make a hasty escape. IMO, China is a *tough* place for an ESL teacher to cut their teeth on, much more so than, say, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Also watch out for the high number of degenerate foreign teachers, many of whom tend to be at least in their middle age and virtually unemployable outside of China due to numerous personal issues. Perhaps if you are the very patient type of person and are willing to invest at least one year here you will find something redeeming about working in China for well below $1500 USD/month. It's possible to apply yourself and make it here but there are better options for ESL instructors elsewhere to be sure.

Re: Alin Buuer; Frank Zhang; James Zhang, et al - ESL school review

Yes, he is still out there. I became aware of his existance(s) a few weeks back, after I had casually contacted him about some positions in China. He contacted me at 2 seperate occasions under the Xu Hui <111xuhui@163.com> alias and as Mr. Sang. Look out for this. I could have fallen into this trap if I had not thought his contracts were manufactured and read the warnings here. The schools he put me in contact with quoted a different salary that he did, which also sent off a red alert for me. Get educated if you are a first time teacher! I have been to China 3 times, met my fiance there, and have had an all-around great experience in the country. Don't let scams like this ruin your experience! Take care! CD

Always ends letter with this:

I am looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards to you and your family!
