Re: Yuncheng IELTS "School"

The content of many of Turnoi's posts gives me no choice but to agree with him that he is indeed an old goat.
I think we should all thank him for his courage - he is not afraid to point out that he knows he is disliked, for all to see on this board!

Turnoi's posts are not written with a view to making all of his fellow readers like him. That's why no-one can say he is a groveling weasel.Maybe he is an old goat, but there are other old goats posting on the board too.Oldtimer, your name and the tone of your post makes me think you're one too!

Re: Yuncheng IELTS "School"

I am an "old goat" at the age of sixty, I am a greybeard (or at least gray-haired) but I do not lack any of the educational requirements for teaching and do not disqualify for a legal teaching job in China or anywhere else. ..

old goat - an elderly man who is disliked.
greybeard - an old man.

As Turnoi is a self-confessed old goat of sixty, his age would in fact disqualify him for teaching legally in China, in accordance with a Chinese employment regulation. What's more, not just in China, but in other countries too. If he wishes to return to China to teach, it looks like he'll have to work illegally for an outfit like Yuncheng IELTS, which is what many of his fellow greybeards are already doing, whether sporting a grey beard or not!
