Re: Aston English, Xian

Is this addressed to me personally, again?
San Migs dearie, I thought I already made
it clear in my previous message to you on another thread about
these things - using poverty as an excuse for cheating etc.etc.
Know what? I don't tell my students I am poor, I tell them I am
rich because I was able to purchase my ticket and come to China
ang travel to places I'd like to go to.
I do not do part time jobs because that's what it says in the
contract. No big deal. I am contented with what I receive
every end of the month. Simple as that.

Am getting tired and bored with this topic, are you not?

Re: Aston English, Xian

You play the poverty card, but the average gdp of Manila is much higher than the average GDP of my home city, Manchester.

By your rationale, I should be sending home every cent, and looking for a rich chinese woman to leech off...but I do not.

Admit some filipinas are already rich, and that they just become even more greedy and amoral once they get to China, love to go to HK to party and spend money, and then plead poverty to their chinese employers and students, all while taking a second job in violation of their contract on the side.

The poverty story doesn't wash!

Re: Aston English, Xian

Once again, it is not the responsibility of foreigners to rescue the "poor Filippina" from poverty.
You created the mess your society is in, your people must fix it.

I couldn't have put it better! Let's hope 'miffed' gets the message this time. Everyone else does!
