Re: A WARNING FOR NEW TEACHERS USING THIS BOARD

I don't care about the "good news". You have ignored the facts I have put out about china and how business is done. You benefited, and you're in the minority. That's the point I am making. Since you benefited from working at EF, you have positive things to say. Since I did not benefit and had more than 1 bad experience working at a training center similiar to EF, I don't have any good things to say. You accuse me of exaggerating the bad working situations in China. I can turn around and say you are totally exaggerating the good of working in China. You don't care about the plight of others. You don't ask questions regarding why people would come to the conclusions they do with regards to personal opinion, yet you feel it's okay to attack them personally and to talk down to them the way you do.

I have to say, since you have given me your own opinions about what I am about and what others are like according to you, I should reciprocate. Speaking with a very experienced teacher with almost 20 years of experience in the ESL field recently, I was given the opinion of the ideas and attitudes of western women and this teacher stated that generally speaking modern White, Western women are the most overpriviledged, overprotected, and the most fawned upon group of women in the world in recent history. I won't go ahead as to say I totally agree with this statement, but I suspect you do fall into this category and your own jaded attitude on making mountains out of molehills (that with always having to be right and being the one in central focus) certainly won't help your cause. People do make judgements, and you're not the only one doing it.
