Wow! The posters in this thread are so harsh! I worked for Linguaphone Guangzhou for 3 years ending in mid 2009. It was a fantastic experience. I am so sorry they are gone. Although not perfect (what company is) they were great to work for, paid the FT's well and on-time. I did however meet quite a few English teachers (that I interviewed and worked with) that were simply unhappy and incompetent, not able to make it in their native country so they came to China. I have a feeling many of you who are posting about Linguaphone have little actual first hand experience with this company and seem to be overall just very negative and unhappy people.
