I won't attempt to understand anything that sounds unreasonable. I don't think you are necessarily a bad person, you may just have a different viewpoint based on your own experience. What I don't like is the fact that when you first started posting recently on this forum you gave off an attitude that was basically parroting what many GW's in the past have said about how professional their company was and yada yada yada. You should know that I have contacted some of these posters on this board and I know for a fact that they are different individuals with different backgrounds.

I think the way you started off talking was not very conducive towards having people trust you. I won't doubt you had a good experience, but not a lot of people really care. In my time working in china, there was about a 40% chance of there being one individual (and no more than that) on average who could stay and work at a training center like EF for an extended period of time (more than 1 and 1/2 years that is) and be happy for having worked there. I have met a couple of people who worked at a private training center for more than 2 years, one of whom married a local Chinese girl. I don't think it's impossible, but it really completely depends on luck, if your chinese boss likes your look, and if you happen to keep clients (the students) for your boss. With that being said, your own personal success cannot project very effectively into the real world of ESL education in China because there are simply too many flaws happening in way too many places for any teacher from any country to consistently have even an above average, nevermind decent working experience during all their time in China.

There are only so many positions that are good in china right now with ESL teaching, if you happened to get one of them then it's only good for you. Saying anything like telling others to not criticize if they've haven't worked there or saying people "can" have a good experience at EF is unfortunately for you just asking for it from countless folks who will gladly disagree. That's the bottom line.
