I would like to Warn Everyone who might have been contacted by Wancheng International Education Center. Not only has everyone that has worked there before left, both foreign teachers and Chinese. They are not licensed to legally hire foreign ESL teachers. They currently have offices all over China that are unlicensed to hire foreigners primarily Chengdu/Sichuan, Hengyang, and Jia Mu Si. The owners of Wancheng are only interested in making money and the reason for everyone leaving is because the last months salary of the term they didnt pay any of their teachers stating they were Make up classes and that they were owed to the company. The Boss doesnt care what your contract states, whatever he wants is what happens!! Some teachers who tried to quit were harassed, beat up in the Wancheng office and slapped with huge fines. Even went so far as reporting to the police that their teachers were drug dealers in order to try and deport them. Sent rent a cops to their house to tear everything apart and told them that if they dont continue teaching for them than they will be put in jail and eventually deported or worse. Stole some of the teachers passports in order to delay them from leaving and refused to return them and when the teachers went to the PSB to complain Wancheng said they never saw the passports. I sincerely caution anyone who is even thinking of Working for Wancheng to block whoever is contacting you and DO NOT WORK FOR THEM AND LET THEIR UNJUSTICE, BLACKMAILING, AND ILLIGAL PRACTICES FROM CONTINUEING.
