It does not matter here if immoral or not. But you seem to underestimate the result of your suggestion to SB to consider boys/men. Not all of us are so liberal as you seem to be and may take it as a personal offence. Not good!

So you can say what you like about women, and they shouldn't take offence because a good old boy has said it? Anyway, it's logical to assume that if a man has such a generally speaking low opinion of women, he may be better off seeking the company of males.
