How to Love Yourself More
By:Paula Owen

It has been said that no one can possibly love you if you do not first love yourself. This really is true. But simply knowing this is not helpful if you don’t know how to go about loving yourself more.

The first step towards living yourself is to accept yourself right where you are now, exactly as you are. Accepting yourself is making yourself aware and saying you are responsible for who you are.

Accepting yourself doesn’t mean that you cannot change yourself. You certainly can. But to go from one place to another, you must start where you are now. And you cannot start where you are now, until you acknowledge where you are now.

Think about everything you wish you were. And then write out how you can get to that place. If you wish you were thin – brainstorm the things you can do every day that will get you there.

If you wish you were a more generous person, think about how you can practice generosity on a regular basis. If you wish you had more friends, think how you can be a good friend first.

Then put into action your plan. You will not get to where you want to go overnight. Realise this and quit looking for fast solution. Each day do all you can to make your end goals a reality.

The self confidence you feel from doing this is huge! You will accept yourself more as you are actively changing into who you wish to be. You will talk more positively to yourself as you encourage yourself to keep at it.

In time you will have to pinch yourself. You have now morphed into your ideal you. This is a guaranteed way to make you more lovable.

You will become unstoppable as each new success spurs you on to more new success. It’s a great snowball effect where you can only win.
