Is Tap Water Cleaner Than Bottled Water Sold at Stores - How Safe Are We?
By:Lisa Gibb

Until now, many people are still in the midst of wondering and questioning themselves, "Is tap water cleaner than bottled water sold at stores?" Well actually if you are not aware of what really is the truth behind tap water vs. bottled water you might as well be sticking to either one of the two. If you do, my question for you now is, how sure are you that your water is safe?

The question, "Is tap water cleaner than bottled water" is a comparison that is most likely to be ignored by many knowing that either of the options would be more convenient for them or rather more accessible for them in a way. But if you are one of those individuals who has more value to your health and your family's aside from anything else, you would investigate on your own whichever would be beneficial on your end or not.

Let's face it, the water that comes out from our faucets is not that reliable and may not be safe to drink alone. Why? Because even if the water has been confirmed to be treated within the municipality it would, the treatment process that it may have gone through may not be that strong enough to produce purified water for everybody's household.

Isn't it the reason why bottled waters have emerged in the market is because tap water is claimed to be contaminated by certain pollutant that can cot be eliminated by just adding chlorine to treated the water. Thus, chlorine itself is said to be harmful to one's body when exposed it is exposed to the chemical in high amounts of concentration.

On the other hand, now having an option to shift to bottled water had been questionable as well. That is for the fact that it's not that safe to have water stored in plastic containers. There are certain studies that have come up with the dangers that plastic can do to our health. What more having stored your pure water in a container that is said to be harmful to one's health?

Having stored water in plastic containers may expose water to certain byproducts that plastic releases. The longer the water stays in a plastic container the more chances of having plastic byproducts mix with water.

These by-products are found to cause health problems and are known to be carcogenic as well. So the answer to that question, is tap water cleaner than bottled water? Are they safe? No, neither of them are clean or safe. So what can we do ?

The best choice of all is to start purifying water at our own home through the use of a water filtration system that uses a multi-stage filtration device to keep the water clean, pure and safe from chemicals as well as having that fresh water taste that you'd ever wanted.
