Accreditation for TEFL courses is generally a lot of rubbish. The accreditation bodies are often very badly run and merely money making exercises or simply fronts for schools.

Take a look at http://teflaccreditation.wordpress.com/ where I write a blog on the dirty underbelly of TEFL accreditation!

My advice is this: find a course you like the look of. Check for scams (i.e. do a google for the school name plus "scam") and take a look at http://www.teflcoursereview.com which is ok as far as it goes.

There are plenty of rubbish schools out there, but also a few good ones. Just don't believe everything you read!!
