How many new vocab words per 45 min lesson are appropriate to teach adult beginners? I tend to think that between 6 and 8 words are sufficient depending on how fast the student can pick them up. If I try to teach more than this is there a change the student will be overwhelmed and fail to retain the information? Thanks!
