By:Emily Austin

Whether you are dealing with forest camping for the first time, or you are a frequent camper, a new outdoor tour will always be very thrilling and scary at the same time, especially if it includes camping within it. If you are planning a tour to India for experiencing ultimate fun and adventure, then make sure to prepare yourself well in advance before leaving for it. By adding a forest camping trip during the tour will be no doubt very adventurous and exciting.

Experiencing a forest camping trip at least for once in a lifetime is a must if you are an adventure lover. It will take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and provide you a different experience. You will feel close to the nature and cherish many lifetime memories. You will definitely love to stay in a tent located at the surrounded by the greenery and natural beauty. Forest camping is certainly one of the famous adventure activities among the adventure seekers that amaze them the most. You cannot ignore this interesting activity in case you are scouting for the real adventure.

Below given are five important tips that you must keep in mind to enjoy an ultimate forest camping experience during your tour.

Make a check list of items:
Making a check list of the items to be carried along for the trip in advance is very important. This will help you in ensuring that you have put all the essential items in your bag before you leave your home. Since you will be camping in forest nothing will be available to you easily and it is important to double check the items to prevent yourself from any kind of inconvenience.

Pack sensible clothes:
This may sound funny, but important to note. Use your common sense when packing your bag of camping clothes for the forest camping. Make sure to check the weather and climatic condition of the place you have chosen for your India wildlife tour. Carry several pairs of jeans and shorts with shirts or t-shits if the weather is sunny and warm. Just add jersey, warm socks and body warmer in case you are camping in winter. Don’t try to over stuff your bag and make it overloaded unnecessarily.

Choose the lowest spot in the campsite:
Well, it is always good to choose the lowest spot at any corner inside the campsite to avoid the bad consequences of the rain. If you choose a cozy camp right at the bottom of the campsite on the higher spot thinking that you will have more fun, then you are wrong. Another benefit of selecting the camp at the lowest spot is that you can easily shift to the safer place in case of emergency.

Leave your dirty bag & boot outside the camp:
Your camp will be your house for a few days during your trip. So, keep your camp clean like the way you keep your home. Remember that taking care of the cleanliness and hygiene of your camp is your responsibility to avoid falling ill or contracting any disease. Leave your dirty bag and boot outside so that no dirt can enter your camp.

Don’t leave your eatables unpacked:
While leaving your camp to explore the beauty of the nature or to enjoy any adventure activity, pack all your eatables well in a separate bag and hang it at a height. Do not leave them unpacked, otherwise any animal can enter your camp and damage all your food. Even imagining any such situation can be very scary. So, avoid such ignorant attitude and ensure the safety of your limited food.

Taking care of these above mentioned tips can help you in having an ultimate lifetime experience of forest camping while experiencing wildlife in India. You can simply enjoy your camp stay in a forest by considering these guidelines in advance before going for the trip.
