INTESOL Australia provides thorough courses which include a balance between the theory and methodology of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and to thoroughly prepare our trainees for teaching in any environment.

The course consists of modules which are marked and returned with comments and guidance from the trainers. The modules submitted are continually assessed, there are no written examinations.

150 hour course: Covers the TESOL basics for the classroom
180 hour course: Specialist modules which include teaching Business English and Young Learners

No prior qualifications or experience are required. Fluent English, determination and willingness to learn are all you need. For non-native speakers of English, a minimum English proficiency of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required. If you do not posses this, then you can take our own level check.

You will be learning in your own time, by reading course material, working on course activities and completing tasks.

INTESOL Australia uses a carefully structured approach to learning and will help you every step of the way. Your personal tutor will support you. With each returned module you will receive an assessment sheet, which allows your trainer to comment on your progress, giving advice and guidance for future modules.
