Limassol (Lemesos) is the second largest city on the island of Cyprus, situated between two ancient city-kingdoms: Amathus to the East and Kourion to the West. With a population of less than 240.000 people, Lemesos is an ideal location to study and do some sight-seeing. The city was greatly developed under the rule of Richard the Lionheart after the destruction of Amathus in 1191. Many important antiquities, remnants of the Byzantine and Frankish eras, are found in the city of Lemesos, evidence of the city's long history.

The language institute hosting our TEFL TESOL class was established in 1972 and has become one of the leading Language Centers in Cyprus. It is an accredited and licensed Educational Institution in Cyprus, authorized by the British Council, the Institute of Commercial Management, INTESOL Worldwide, the LCCI and CEA to offer their programs and subject examinations. It is also an authorized Examination center for ICM, OCR, LCCI and CEA and operates from two fully equipped freehold and purpose built premises which are fully licensed by the Cyprus Government and the Cyprus Ministry of Education. In addition to a variety of professional and single subject qualifications as well as a Foundation Program for UK Universities, offers English Summer Courses through Lingua School of Languages.

Accommodation: Accommodation options can be within walking distance of the school or well connected by public transportation -- your accommodations will never be more than a 20-minute bus ride from the school. Apartments are clean, comfortable and well heated. Any special requests or requirements regarding accommodation can be specified on the course application form.
