We at INTESOL China fully understand that embarking on taking a TESOL course abroad is a huge decision and the question most often asked is this: will I be able to find work once I complete the course? Well, it isn't. Most people don't realize that China, with a population of 1.3 billion, has the biggest TEFL market in the world. Some 70% of the population studies the English language either in school, university or at private training centers.

INTESOL China has established relationships with the Chinese Education Ministry as well as individual schools (both government and private) across China with one sole purpose: to be able to provide our TESOL graduates with jobs. Once you decide you would like to study with us in China you will submit your CV along with a recent picture to us by email. Once we receive your details, we will contact our partner schools throughout China and present you as a possible teacher (pending the completion of our TESOL course). Once you complete and pass the course, within days of graduating you will be teaching and earning money. Not a bad return on your initial investment, we think. Right now China is gripping tighter and tighter on foreign teacher regulations. A few years ago anyone could find a job, but right now the rules have changed. One of the requirements is to have a teaching qualification (like our onsite TESOL course) with teaching practice as a key component.

The NCFE accredited Level 5 Certificate in TESOL with Teaching Practice (CELTA / Trinity equivalent) is a 190 hour course with a high quality academic content which is not only respected by employers, but also provides the perfect platform from which to begin your career teaching English anywhere in the world. This is a course for those who seek to gain a first qualification in teaching English as a Foreign or Second Language. The course is directed at both novice and more experienced teachers and successful candidates receive an NCFE Level 5 Certificate in TESOL, an NCFE Candidate Summary and the INTESOL Level 5 Certificate in TESOL. The TEFL/TESOL certificate course can be taken in the following format: 4 Week TESOL - 4 week intensive onsite course held at one of our two training facilities in Shenzhen or Dongguan, Guangdong Province, China.
