The rise of globalization makes English language competencies more significant for teachers and students, both at individual and societal levels. The global community raises its standard for competent and efficient teachers in English language communication to produce students who can be globally competitive.

Through TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), the English language proficiency of teachers substantially increases. We believe that TESOL is one of the solutions to increase the level of our competency in English language communication.

Philippine International Communicators (PIC), a major TESOL Certificate program provider in the Philippines, is a host of a graduate program in TESOL. AIIAS (Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies), the only graduate school in Luzon offering a graduate degree program in TESOL, will offer Master of Arts in Teaching emphasis in TESOL (M.A.T. TESOL) by extension and will be held in Baguio City which is the summer capital of the Philippines. Classes will start on April 4, 2013.
