Greetings from U.C.T. Volunteer teaching position is available in our Nursery and Primary school and in our spoken English centre for college students of various faculties. This position is for two months, APRIL and MAY 2010. As a teacher, you will gain wast experience in your profession on completion of your volunteering here. After completion of your tenure as a volunteer teacher here, you will be issued experience certificate and I hope it would be of very help in finding jobs in countries that may offer huge salary and perks. TEACHING ENGLISH

We invite volunteers from abroad for teaching ENGLISH and other extra curriclum in our Nursery and primary school in our Home town VIRUDHUNAGAR and also in the spoken English centre for college students of various faculties run by our organisation.

The purpose of this position is to improve the English skills and other extra curriculum of the kids. The age group of the kids is between 2 years to 11 years and the college students is 16 to 19 years. So many volunteers from abroad have successfully participated in this sector and gained practical knowledge of Indian education system and position of Indian children.

The above work will be from 10 AM to 1.00 PM and from 3.00 PM to 7 PM Monday through Friday and in the weekends, the volunteers can go for their wekend tours to many hillstations and beaches and guidance will be given by us in this regard.

The minimum requirement of stay for the volunteers is 2 months.

Our organisation is a grassroot level NGO without any outside financial assistance. We are running the organisation with the contributions from the board of members, assuch, we can only provide free accommodation and food Please make arrangements of Airfare, Insurance etc. on your own.

We provide the following:

Three times home cooked food with packaged drinking water, neat accommodation with western type bath rooms. Our volunteers are putup in the I floor of our school building with all the above facilities. Our volunteers are received by us in the MADURAI domestic airport near our home town.

Broadband internet browsing facility and phone facility are available on payment basis to the volunteers.

On enquiry, volunteer application form will be sent through e.mail, which may please be filled in and sent to us through e.mail attachment.

Our volunteers are arriving in CHENNAI and from there to MADURAI , a local airport near our home town. From the Madurai airport the teachers will be received by us.
