Madurai Health and Leprosy Relief Centre ( MAHELERECEN) located in Madurai city, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a Non-Governmental , Non profitable and Charitable Organization rendering community based promotive and preventive services of Health education iec ( Information Education Communication ), case detection, Case holding POD ( Prevention of Deformity ), treatment and Rehabilitation services for cured leprosy persons in and around the Madurai district, These services are being given from the year 1991 onwards with the help of local persons philanthropic persons donations.

We invite you to give your voluntary services.
So many volunteers from abroad have successfully participated in this sector and gained practical knowledge of Indian education system.
Broaband internet browsing facility and phone facility are available on payment basis.
Since we are not getting any outside financial assistance, we are charging from the volunteers for their accommodation, food and other facilities mentioned above. The minimum requirement of stay is 3 months.

COST:

one months = 600 USD

The volunteers can fly to CHENNAI from their countries and from Chennai, domestic flights are operated to MADURAI. In the Madurai airport, the volunteers will be received by us.
Our past volunteers really enjoyed the volunteering and mingling with the family members, attending local functions and ceremonies can not be forgotten ever by the volunteers.
The selection is through e.mail only after getting short resume also through e.mail. We don't expect previous experiences from our volunteers for this position.
