I am not a recruiter. I am just an ESL teacher like you. Our schools in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province are looking for teachers to begin for the Fall semester. Navitas is a company that works with the schools in the city to provide English teachers and instructions. Navitas is not a recruiting company. It is a company that provides an English program to schools, as well as the teachers for the program. One of their premiere schools is Liangfeng Senior Middle School. Liangfeng is the number one rated high school in Jiangsu Province and in the top ten list of best high schools in China. It has over 100 years of educational history. The International Department is educating high school students during their Sophomore and Junior years. During their senior year, the students are sent to our partner school in Wisconsin to complete there education. After high school, our students are then able to attend university in the USA. This past year, the majority of our seniors received numerous offers from top universities in the USA. Now, they only need to decide which university fits their wants and needs. Besides teaching them speaking, listening, reading and writing, the students are also learning AP courses. To top off their educational experience at Liangfeng, we are preparing them for their TOEFL exams and SAT exams.

Besides Liangfeng, there are several primary and middle schools in Zhangjiagang that Navitas provides teachers for. Some teachers conduct basic English classes in these grades. Others are conducting Physical Education classes. And, Navitas has a waiting list of schools seeking their services. This next term, Navitas will need to provide at least 15-20 foreign teachers to the education system in Zhangjiagang.

Zhangjiagang is consistently voted as one of China's cleanest and friendliest cities. It was developed as an experimental city. All residents at that time were introduced to a certain code of living. As such, it is a city that has developed into something very special. The city is considered part of Suzhou. It sits near the Yangtze River. And, Wuxi and Nanjing are easy bus trips for a weekend or holiday get away. And, if you like Shanghai, a three and half hour bus trip gets you there. It is expected that the high speed train system will begin service in 2017. But, a short 45 minute bus trip to Wuxi gets you onto the high speed bus line currently.

Navitas offers a salary of around 10,000-12,000 per month after taxes. Standard benefits are part of the contract package, including a free furnished apartment with internet and utilities, Z working visa and residence permits, end of contract flight reimbursement, and insurance. Contract year will be from September to June. During the winter break, you receive your full salary. 20-25 hours of classes (40 minutes per class) and 4-6 hours of office hours are expected. You should meet all of the requirements set by China to work and obtain a Z visa. These requirements are the standard bachelor's degree, ESL certifications, citizenship from an accepted country, etc.
