I am in touch with few universities and colleges in China (Quanzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Hefei, Dalian, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou...). There are also primary/middle schools in some of those and other cities. They are all hiring for the new semester which begins in late February/early March.

Salary: 6-14k RMB per month. Yes, those are standard salaries at Chinese universities. Primary/middle schools pay more.

• Free accommodation
• Flight reimbursement, usually 6-10k RMB per month
• Around 3 months of holidays, 1 or 2 months paid in most cases
• Other benefits like paid utilities, meal allowances, 2k RMB bonus per year in most cases
• Basic medical insurance
• Only 12-16 x 45 min (or 40 min) classes per week, NO office hours in most cases. Usually 1 English Corner per week. Primary schools usually require up to 20 classes, but the salary is higher
• UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa passport holders (some employers might consider your application if you have a degree from one of those countries)
• At least a BA, an MA will bump your salary a bit
• TEFL or similar certificate in case you don't have 2 years of teaching experience
• Clean police background check

You will need to authenticate your degree and the background check before applying for the working visa.
