Oral English Teacher

Teach spoken English to college students in a coastal city in Guangxi. We are an International college with over 7000 students aged between 18-22. This area is affordable to live in and has a pleasant environment. We offer contract renewal and promotions.

Job description

  • 20 lessons a week ranging from 8:10 to Noon; 2:30 until 4:30 Monday through Fridays.

  • No weekend work unless to make up for a government sponsored holiday (usually 3 times/year).

  • Modern classrooms teaching between 30 to 40 students a lesson.

  • North American Textbooks provided with teacher book.

  • Salary: 7500 rmb a month.

  • Airfare reimbursement: 8000 rmb (half paid on arrival and rest on the completion of your contract).

  • Travel allowance for Chinese new year 4000 rmb.

    • All holidays paid by the school.
    Medical insurance provided.
    All visa costs covered.

    Accommodation

    A fully furnished, western style, private apartment on-campus.

    International English teachers are assigned a personal locker, desk, computer terminal and very comfortable International Office . It is fully staffed with administrative personnel and up to 2 Interns/year to assist you throughout the course of your tenure.

    Position requirements and visa requirements

  • Native English speakers (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland).

  • Bachelor Degree, 1 to 2 Years work experience unless major in education. Must be notarized and legalized in your home country.

  • "No Criminal Record Certificate" Must be notarized and legalized in your home country.

    • (These documents are then to be taken to the Chinese Embassy in your country for their official notarization).

    A Physical Health Examination is also needed for the working visa using the Chinese application form (can be downloaded from the Chinese embassy website and taken to your medical facility) The medical to be conducted at a government approved Medical Facility in your home country . Again, the College will reimburse all associated costs.
