What we offer:
6000 RMB/month

Foreign liaison to the Foreign Affairs Office
CIT offers their teachers the freedom to choose their own apartments and provides up to 1500 RMB/month as a housing subsidy. The Foreign Affairs Office (FAO) will provide help in finding a suitable apartment, as well assist in tasks like paying utilities and repairs.
CIT provides full pay to their teachers during term break (mid January to the beginning of March and mid July to the beginning of September) as well as during the official holidays (May Holiday etc), adding up to a total of more than three months of paid leave.
CIT will cover all costs concerning the work visa i.e. including visa fees and the invitation letter as well as the medical check-up.
CIT further provides a reimbursed return ticket at the end of each year, or 10000 RMB (minus tax) in cash.
Job description:
Full time
16 teaching hours/week
Start: early September
Undergraduate classes for the English and Engineering department (UWS exchange program).
CIT has a longstanding exchange program with the University of the West of Scotland, and one of the teaching tasks is preparing our students for their studies abroad. While CIT focuses on engineering degrees, it aims to integrate English into their non-English Major curriculum, fostering international cooperation.
In addition to preparing exchange program students, teachers will also provide mandatory and elective courses for English Majors e.g. English Speaking and Listening, Online Reading, Film Class, as well as Speech and Debate.
CIT will provide all teaching materials, as well as assistance with the curriculum and the initial instruction on the content of the classes and how to use the provided material. One teaching hour breaks down to 50 minutes of class time and a 5 minute break.
Qualification and Requirements:
Native English speakers from the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
Bachelors degree (or above)
Teaching experience of two years or more.
