Hainan Yuda Foreign Language Academy is an English learning institute that accepts students aged 6-17.
Your work week will be a maximum of 16 hours a week, with 2 hours each Wednesday-Friday evening and 5 hours each Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 8:30 am.
Your salary will range from 7,000-10,000 rmb a month, depending on your qualifications.
Your housing will be provided free of cost.
You will receive a Bi-annual bonus of 10,000 rmb that coincides with the end of each school term. Terms are 5 months in length.
You will receive roughly 10 weeks of holiday per contract year.
Your will be paid your full regular salary during holiday time. This is in addition to the two 10,000 rmb bonuses mentioned earlier.
You will have no work on Monday or Tuesday.
You will receive a Working Z Visa at no cost.
Curriculum texts are static and are sorted by student age and ability. You will be responsible for deriving lesson plans from these texts and sourcing outside materials to aid in your teaching.
Curriculum texts are completely in English, and are part of a progressive, single learning series called English World.
You will have Chinese school staff able and willing to help you with any problems.
You will have a wealth of lesson materials waiting for you sourced by current teachers.

Requirements:
Able to arrive no later than July, 2017.
A bachelors degree in any subject.
At least 1 year of teaching experience.
Able to sign a document declaring an absence of a criminal record.
An ESL certification, such as a Celta, Tefl, or Tesol.
Must be a native English speaker.
Obtain and provide a general health check showing good health and absence of serious communicable disease.

I personally have worked at my current school for nearly 3 years. The staff is friendly, helpful, and supportive. The local community is awesome. The holiday time is amazing. The students can be very endearing once you start forming a relationship with them.

For those of you already in China, this is a very comfortable city to live in with great weather and little pollution. The salary is quite high considering the work is part time, and the 10 weeks of holiday are fully paid.
Not to mention free housing and bi-annual bonuses.

For those of you currently living outside of China, remember this is a different culture and requires you to leave everything you know; your friends, your work, your family, etc, behind. It is a big step for anyone if you haven't done it before and there is an adjustment period. But when I did this I showed up knowing no one or anything about the city or people.
