English Teacher in Suzhou, China: ¥14,000+/month. (2 Positions)

Job Description:

We have two openings at a training center in Suzhou, China, to teach adults (typically age 25-35). One position is for immediate start and the second to start in May. The roles include a salary of ¥12,000-15,000 per month, with an additional housing allowance of ¥2,000 per month. The center will provide a flight reimbursement of ¥6,000-8,000 upon the successful completion of a 1-year contract. The training center will also provide all materials including the curriculum and lesson plans. This is a full-time position with 25 teaching hours and 15 office hours per week, as well as 2 consecutive days off. Additionally, teachers have paid sick leave, paid national holidays, and one day off for Christmas. Insurance and work visa sponsorship will be provided.

Responsibilities :
Delivering well planned lessons based on the school's curriculum
Encourage students to practise spoken English
Provide feedback on oral and written work
Facilitate learning for students and build their confidence
Use a variety of materials and teaching techniques to enhance student learning, and engage student interest
Perform general administrative functions
Involvement in curriculum development
Attend and participate in staff department meetings, workshops, curriculum planning and special school events

Requirements:
Native English Speaker
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate
Bachelor’s Degree
Previous teaching experience: 6 months
Minimum Age: 23 (legal requirement for visa sponsorship)

Additional Information:

We will provide relocation assistance to the successful candidate to help find an apartment, set up a bank account, get a SIM card, etc. On-going support such as help with translations, navigating the city, cultural immersion activities, and Chinese lessons are all provided to teachers. Additionally, the school provides a first week orientation and monthly teacher training.
