BrightSpark Teachers have several opportunities for English Teachers to teach in China as part of a project to bring native English speakers into Chinese schools to assist students with their English language skills. An excellent opportunity for graduates, those looking to embark on an international teaching career or those who wish to spend time experiencing a different culture, travelling and learning new skills.

One of the fantastic locations is Zhanjiang , a port city situated to the southwest of Guangdong Province. Zhanjiang was once leased to the French and has a rich cultural history. Over 1 million people live in the, making it one of China’s smaller cities, and almost all speak Cantonese. Cantonese is the primary language of all of Guangdong Province, although most younger people speak Mandarin. The city is a seaside town with with unique characteristics. With scenic views, and a growing tourist industry. The local landscape sports beaches, islands, forests and plenty of sunshine. The Zhanjiang enjoys tropical and subtropical monsoon climate with low altitudes. Influenced by the ocean climate, Zhanjiang escapes the heat of the summer and chilliness of the winter making it a wonderful place to live all year around.

Wuhan is a vibrant city of 10 million people in the heartland of China. Known for its eclectic urban and modern Chinese culture, it is an absorbing and intriguing place to live. Wuhan has an interesting past and is a potpourri of modern and ancient Chinese architecture. There are countless fascinating historical landmarks to visit in a city steeped in history. The Yangtze and Hanjing Rivers separate three parts of Wuhan. Wuchang is a cultural and educational area, with several colleges and universities. Hankou is the commercial district and Hanyang is where a lot of major development is happening. Wuhan has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Summer in the city is renowned for its heat and humidity. Temperature in the city’s winter is not as low as those in the northern cities in China which makes it an excellent choice if you like live in a seasoned climate.

About The School
They currently have opportunities in various locations throughout China. Beijing city, Zhanjiang and Wuhan are just some of the exciting locations you could be teaching English to students aged from early years to high school. Qualification And Requirements
The schools require candidates to have a Bachelors degree and a TEFL Certificate (from any TEFL provider or two years full time classroom teaching experience). Your degree can be in any subject, and applications from fresh graduates are welcome. You should be a native English speaker.

Salary: RMB 15000 - 18000 p.m

Duration: 1 year
