English schools in the USA and Canada

Alberta - Edmonton
School:English Link ESL School

English Link is a conversational English school where the courses are designed to help international students and immigrants with their spoken English skills. It is located on one of the most popular entertainment districts in beautiful Edmonton, Alberta. English Link was established in 2003 and is the only English conversation school in Edmonton. We have taught many people from around the world including people from Poland, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Germany, Korea, Brazil, Turkey, and China.

All of the teachers at English Link were born and raised in Canada and have a desire to help students improve their conversational English skills. Each teacher has extensive experience teaching English domestically and overseas, and applies their experience in the classroom. The teachers are native English speakers. Whether you are a beginner at English or more advanced, English Link has something to offer you!

Our teachers use a variety of teaching strategies to improve speaking, listening, vocabulary, and comprehension. The school’s relaxing and comfortable setting also allows students to gain an understanding of North American culture as well as develop confidence in their English speaking ability.

Not only do we want to teach you English but we want to help you apply it in everyday life. You can start learning at anytime for a set amount of weeks. English Link has many activities throughout the year so students can practice their English, meet new people, and experience Canadian culture. Keep watching the website to see what upcoming activities you can join!

About Edmonton: Edmonton is the 6th largest city in Canada and is known as “The Festival City.” There is always a different kind of festival happening every month ranging from street performers in August to the festival of trees in December and the Capital Ex in July. There is always something to see and do in Edmonton. When there are no festivals there are many attractions to go see around the city including the largest shopping mall in North America. Even though ice hockey is the most popular sport in Canada, there are many other live sporting events you can watch throughout the year. If you like the outdoors, Edmonton has one of the largest biking and walking trails in North America and only a few hours drive outside of the city is the beautiful Rocky Mountains, a UNESCO World heritage site. No matter what you enjoy doing, Edmonton has something for you!
