School:Boston University 's Center for English Language and Orientation Programs (CELOP)

About CELOP
Established at Boston University in 1975, CELOP—the Center for English Language and Orientation Programs—is a proud member of the University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP). This organization and its members are dedicated to promoting and upholding the highest professional standards to ensure that students receive the most advanced methods of intensive English instruction from trained, professional instructors. CELOP is also fully accredited by The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and proudly upholds the high standards of this organization. Since 1996, we have devoted ourselves to our mission statement.

CELOP students can be sure that they are getting the highest quality English instruction available. All of our teachers are Boston University faculty, all have graduate degrees and all have many years of experience teaching English to international students. In fact, many of CELOP's teachers are internationally recognized as textbook authors and conference speakers.

What's more, our students benefit from the relationships CELOP maintains with other schools and departments at Boston University. Advanced-level CELOP students may attend courses at the University, and also receive special consideration when applying to diploma and certificate programs at BU Global.
