Admissions Process

We have a year-round open registration that encourages potential students to begin their education without extended delays. Student may begin class on any Monday.
1. Eligibility
Any student, regardless of academic, personal or occupational goals, may enroll in any class for which he/she is qualified as determined by the Director. The minimum age for international students is 16.
2. Application
Please send us the documents for the application. You can download those forms on our website.

3. Admission
SDUIS is authorized by Federal Law to issue I-20 Student Visa Form. SDUIS will issue the I-20 for the student who meets our admission requirement. The I-20 will be mailed to students with the Admission Letter. This process takes approximately 10 ~ 20 days. Please apply as early as possible.
4. Interview with Consulate
Please take the I-20 and the Admission Letter issued by SDUIS to the consulate on the date of your interview.

5. Enter the US
Enter the US with a student visa. Please let us know in advance if you need a help with housing or airport pickup.

6. Placement Test & Orientation
A test will be administrated on the Thursday before you begin class for appropriate program placement.
