Imagination in the Classroom
By:Affan Ahmed

Teachers are always trying to figure out different ways to come up with an assignment to make their students imagine. A great way to add a different twist to the imagination assignment is to bring in a Kinetic Picture. There is such an array of décor items that anything can be made up.

It would be fantastic if two pictures were brought into the classroom and have the students either pick one of the two pictures or somehow try to incorporate both pictures into what imaginary story. The Pond Moving Black Mirror Frame, City Lights or the Virtual Fish Tank would go well with any story. The students will have a chance to stare at the picture and come up with a great story.

After the stories are written then the teacher can make the winning story into a trophy by displaying the framed story under the picture in the classroom. Any visitor to the classroom will enjoy the moving picture while reading the wonderful story that was produced.

Typically, elementary classrooms have a lot of colors that are made up with construction paper, so the picture will provide more of a clean look and vibrant color in the room. In order for the picture to stand out you would want it on a wall that is more of a lighter color and not surrounded by all of the construction paper. The décor will provide more of a crisp look to the room.

This type of vibrant picture will be perfect for any open house or back to school night to show the winner of the imagination assignment and the advanced technology of modern wall décor. By having this picture on display and the creativity of the assignment it will demonstrate the cleverness of the teacher.

For this particular assignment, you would probably want a small picture. The larger picture will take up too much room. Also, the smaller picture is cheaper and all teacher's are looking after their wallets when it comes to providing props for their assignments.
