I'm a filipino and I was thinking of taking TESL certificate here in the philippines that is affiliated by school from countries like Canada in order to be qualified to teach English in non-speaking countries like China, Korea, etc. But I was wondering if this is a waste of money since these countries would prefer native English speaker. By the way, English is our second language here in the Philippines. Thanks in advance.
