4 "Powers" To Stay Happy On The Job
By:Larry Icabandi Nabiong

In the job market with tens of thousands seeking for a job these days, you should know that having one is a thing to consider that you are indeed lucky! So before you grope for your pen to write a resignation letter, you better take heed of the following:

1. Power to Know: Knowing that you are lucky enough to have a job, the more you should do your best. Imagine the people joining the job search and the like, almost always they get frustrated being turned down by employers for they lack the needed experience, competence to mention a few. Now, that you have one, just keep it and do your best as a productive worker no matter how might be lowly your job is to you.

2. Power to Change: Attitude can be changed. No matter how bad you feel about your job now, due to office politics, bossy boss, or whatever, you must do something. And one, that is doable to you, is changing your mindset. Why not look for challenges present in your job? And show that you have got talent, that is, that you could do something great once you were given a chance.

3. Power to Create: Why not make your workplace, enjoyably productive? By adding little dash of color or putting few objects of art in a nook of your office, positive vibrations can help uplift your mood. Yes, with just a small amount of creativity, you can make your office a haven of satisfied workers, and confidently productive workers, as well.

4. Power to Share: Why not be a mentor to your co-workers, especially those who are still wet behind ears? Making them discover their strengths, help them improve, develop their skills and the like, can greatly help you feel better about your job-- and yourself--as well.

By imbibing positive aura of helpfulness, like helping others achieve their full potentials: well, what else could you ask for but to feel happy. You are then become a source of inspiration, and positive feedback about you will definitely circulate the workplace and can make you score points.

With the right mindset, getting rid of the feeling of not loving your job anymore due to burnout can now be remedied with just activating the four powers that you have.
